This past weekend we took a trip to Positano, an incredible beach town on the Amalfi Coast. I took this opportunity to sport some neon and black (a favorite summer combination of mine, for sure).
The focal point of this cute beach outfit, besides the color contrast, would have to be one of my favorite shirts from Truly Madly Deeply. This sick skull cutout on the back makes for the perfect beach shirt because my neon bathing suit was able to peek through. I paired this top with my adorable black leather UO shorts and usual sandals (have to say, this is the most use I've gotten out of a single pair of sandals besides Old Navy rubber flip-flops, not too shabby...).
In loveee with this neon fringe bathing suit top I got from Forever 21. I don't have a matching bottom with it (I have a habit of not really wearing matching bikini tops and bottoms) but I paired this one with a simple black bottom from H+M. I find that with neon suits, especially ones with a specific amount of detail (like the fringe of this one) I prefer it to be paired with a muted bottom to really accentuate the detail that the suit already has to offer.

After all my traveling this past month, I have to say, Positano is probably my favorite so far (with the exception of Florence, which will always be my favorite).
