Launch NYC Fall | Winter Runway ♡ NYFW Twenty Fourteen

I was fortunate to kick off fashion week by attending the Launch NYC runway shows! The event was split up into separate parts: 3 ready to wear shows in the afternoon, and 3 demi couture/ couture shows in the evening. I've put together a little description of each collection and my favorite pieces!

Ready to Wear

01: ABACAXI

Violet silk open shirtdress, Aubergine/ Gold hooded Sweater Vest back

Himalaya Gold Coat, Metallic Fringe Sweater, Black Churidaar Leggings

Feel of the Collection: super easy and effortless but still interesting, and totally versatile with the different pieces. I loved the Himalayan textures, patterns, and colors.

02. VAUNT & SOL

Drip Painted High-Waisted Panties: Limited Edition Print Modal/ Elastane

Drip Painted Bra and High Waisted Panties: Limited Edition Print Modal/ Elastane

Drip Painted Cowl Dress: Limited Edition Print Modal/ Elastane

Black +  Drip Painted Goan: Limited Edition Print Modal / Elastane + Ponte di Roma

Oversize Artist Print Hoodie: Organic Cotton / High-Waisted Black Leggings: Ponte di Roma

Feel of the Collection: super artsy and fun. I loved the graphic elements and the movement of each piece. Lots of sweet technicolor and draping.

03. HEART & NOBLE

"Cobalt" (cobalt lazer cut cable tie acrylic necklace sewn)

"Coffee" (coffee lazer cut cable tie acrylic necklace sewn)

Feel of the Collection: super minimalist and innovative. The 3D Printing was sick, and I loved that all of the dresses were basically the same.

Demi Couture / Couture

04. MINNOJI

Jacket: Neoprene, detachable sleeves / Dress: wool crepe, combo faux leather

Top: Sweater knit with combo heavy mesh / Skirt: Neoprene/ Faux leather "leggings"

Vest: Neoprene / Dress- Ponte, Combo heavy mesh / Faux leather "leggings"
Feel of this Collection: powerful and masculine. I loved the androgyny in these pieces.

05. MODU

Cropped top with Raglan Sleeve / Navy Skinny Pants

Green Jacket Vest / Navy Straight Pants

Dolman Sleeve Jacket with Side Zipper Details / Long Shirt Dress

Feel of the Collection: strong and sleek. Obsessed with that Raglan Sleeve top!

Feel of the Collection: sophisticated, sexy, and gorgeous! This was probably my favorite collection I got to see today- the gowns were just out of this world.

Happy NYFW!
