Black, White& Red All Over: Winter Wear ♡ Twenty Fourteen

I've been taking a new edge with my style lately with more crisp pieces. MBFW has inspired me to search for more clean cut lines and shapes.

With this look, I paired together lots of geometric pieces, and I love the way it turned out.

After all, you can't go wrong with black & white.

Oversized wool coats are a 2014 staple this year, so I started building this outfit around my gorgeous Tulle wool coat. Winter white will never go out of fashion, and I think it adds a certain crispness to this look. The pop of yellow in the lining helps to add some dimension and originality to the stark neutral colors. Underneath, I paired my white coat with a Brandy Melville loose tee that's a bit of an off-black browny shade. I think this adds a nice unexpected contrast to the black and denim in the rest of the look.

As for denim, I went with this Brandy Melville high-waisted pair of jeans. I simply adore the wash, and I think the four-seamed leg makes the pant totally interesting. My vintage envelope bag plays off the jean seams and adds some sophistication.

My hat, c/o Forever 21, frames my face nicely, and the crisp edges truly compliment the crispness of the wool coat. I paired this entire look with Mac's Sail La Vie, perhaps my favorite blood-orange red in my lipstick collection.

Finally, these gorgeous black and white closed toe heels are Deena & Ozzy, c/o of Urban Outfitters. I'm simply in love with the look of these mixed with the denim, and I think they truly finish off this outfit.

    1. thank you so much!! I really appreciate it. and I actually don't use foundation!
I use--- Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer (oil free) in Fawn, Makeup Forever full cover concealer (the one in the tube, its AMAZING and cover up ANYTHING!), Benefit's Erase Paste for under my eyes and I set my makeup with the Makeup Forever Powder Pro>Finish Powder (which is incredible as well and gives a gorgeous matte finish)!
      hope that helps. cheers! xo
