MARCH FAVORITES

Warm tones and airy vibes defined this month's favorites. Many of these products are absolute staples for Spring in my book, and I've also got a few fun favorites at the very end.
Let's jump into it without further ado!

Beauty

01. Mac Shadow in All That Glitters- So, THROWBACK MUCH?! I know what you're thinking, we're in 2015, Alanna. Why are we still using shadows that were popular Youtube channels from like 2008. In all honesty, I rediscovered this beautiful shadow, and I can't believe I have yet to hit pan on it (same goes for Soft Brown.. it's like never-ending, but hey, I'm not complaining). This is honestly just a beautiful lid shadow for spring- it's champagney enough without being too harsh, it's pink enough but doesn't make you look like Barbie.. it's such a happy medium! I would certainly recommend this for a starter kit, as well as just generally- it's a great shadow to invest in.

02. Tarte's Exposed- Love how my computer just autocorrected "Tarte" to "Tate," aka it loves you Tate just as much as I do. Anyway, I can't get enough of Exposed! It's the best transition blush from winter to spring, like ever, and I love it's matte finish. It also pairs well with any lip color, whether it be bold or subtle.

03. Benefit Moon Beam- Basically my way of pretending it's summer. I love usually using this during the warmer months, and I've mentioned this product a few times before, but I've been finding myself reaching for it constantly! Moon Beam is the more peach based highlight, while Highbeam is the pinker one. I find that Moon Beam suits my complexion a little more, and for that and the fact that it just makes me feel glowing, I love it!

05. Mac Taupe Eyeliner- Now, now, now, what is this doing here? This is going to be your very first KILLER QUEEN POP QUIZ! If you have read my blog often, you know that I list my monthly favorites in a pretty consecutive and specific order: Beauty, which typically goes: face product, eye product, cheek product, lip product and then Miscellaneous. This order is precisely deliberate (as is everything I post on this blog, always keep that in mind), so why would I put an eye pencil after a cheek product?
[This is where I wish I could insert that blurry thing that Buzzfeed does when they post graphic pictures to the answer...alas, I'm way too lazy to code that..]

I placed Mac's Taupe eyeliner after cheek because I use it as a lip product instead. I know, I know, you're thinking I'm just about crazy right now: but hear me out! This is how is all happened: I went into Mac in search of Mac's Stone Lipliner (which may actually be discontinued because it's no longer online.) It's a deep brown that looks brilliant underneath a lighter shade browny-pink lipstick, think Verve, or Taupe, or even Velvet Teddy. Unfortunately, Mac has been sold out of Stone nearly everywhere, so the girl at the counter urged me to try Taupe Eyeliner on my lips instead. And guess what? I LOVE IT! Just line your lips with this deep brown and add some diagonal lines from the outer to the center of your lip to enhance your pout. Swipe on that lipstick and blend, and you'll never go back. Products like these are the reason I love makeup so much. It's so fun.

06. Mac's Taupe Lipstick- Ughhhhhhhh. I can't express to you how much I LOVE this shade (it's only been in my favorites every month for the past three months...) For the plumpest pout ever, pop this on top of Whirl Lip Liner by Mac and I swear your lips will be Kylie-Jenneresque. For a more sophisticated new lip that's still kind of Kardashian, I recommend this over top Taupe Eyeliner Pencil. PRO-TIP: I would NOT recommend filling in your lips with a brown pencil! Just outline them and drag in the color softly, and later blend with the lipstick. This way there will be a nice gradient.

Miscellaneous

07. VS Sexy Little Things Noir Body Mist- Ahhhh, this was just in my favorites not too long ago! I finally ran out of my small bottle of it, so I decided to just bite the bullet and purchase the larger size. I've used it three to four times a day ever since. It's my go-to!

08. Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo- It's a sad day when every store you go to is out of Batiste. I picked this up on a whim because I needed some dry shampoo, and I have to say this does a descent job! It's great for volumizing hair for different hairstyles, and it smells amazing. I also love that they sell a color safe version! Still not topping Batiste, but I definitely think it does a good job!

09. First Aid Beauty Cleanser- YAYAYYAYA! I am so happy I'm using this again!! For a while, I stuck to Aveeno because of my strict dermatologist, but I've been on my skin treatment for about a year now, so I decided to go back to some of the skin care I used to love! This cleanser is absolutely incredible, and leaves your face smoother than anything. After you use this, your face will have never felt cleaner. Guaranteed. I also adore the packaging. A++++++

10. This Moroccan Candleholder- Um,,, obsessed. This was given as a gift to me (thank you love!), and it could not suit my style more! It's straight from a market in Morocco, and it's made out of wax except for the hamsa, which is metal. HOW COOL!

11. This Moroccan Coin Purse- Again, a gift (weeeee thank you), this coin purse is just super cool and right up my alley. It actually matches perfectly with some of my vintage leather bags that have the same orangey-brown look to them, and I couldn't be more obsessed!

& Finally, collected clips of this month's outfits PLUS BLOOPERS.. (:
