I've finally gotten around to doing another fashion post for you guys! (yayyyyy)
It's my first SPRING weekly wear, and I felt like mixing two pretty bold prints while still keeping it simple.
My two printed pieces in this look are my Brandy Melville Flowered Wrap/ Kimono and my cute brown and black bird head wrap c/o Nordstroms BP. I like the contrast that these two patterns offer, while still keeping it kind of subtle with the black in each. Mixing prints can be a pretty difficult task, but with the right size, graphic, and color, it's guaranteed to look appropriate. I wore a black short sleeve top from Brandy Melville to make these two patterns seamlessly fit together.
To add some more texture, I paired everything with my Tripp NYC black (half leather) jeans c/o Nasty Gal. I like the matte shine they give against the starkness of the patterns. I then wanted to pick up the brown of my head wrap a little more, so I paired this all with corresponding brown wedges from Vince Camuto. The studs give a bit of an edgier vibe as well.
As for jewelry, I paired this with my silver sun necklace purchased in Italy, and a cute beaded choker, c/o my roommate, Miss Gloria.
To finish this look off and add another pop of color, I added by royal blue Clubmasters from Ray Ban for fun. My lipstick shade is Mac's Rebel.
Happy Spring ! (and Happy April Fools Day?)
